Characters are beginning to pop up out of the woodwork, getting a feel for what I’m madly building.
I welcome the company with an embarrassingly giddy smile.
Then, I lure them further into the literary scaffolding with promises of hot, glazed donuts and juicy storylines.
Who stays? Who goes? Who knows?
It’s a marvelously exciting time.
