Guilt of the Carotid

 

stockvault-human-blood-circulation-circa-1911148446I purposefully took a step back yesterday, left the hand-wringing over Chapter One of my Cozy Mystery to the Cyber Monday gods and shopped.

 

Normal people would have enjoyed this.

 

Normal people I am not.

 

Guilt latched onto my carotid artery and sucked… rather gruesomely.

 

I will return to my hand-wringing today with gratitude and a heavily bandaged neck.
