The Weight of Escape

The weight of a Cozy Mystery should be measured.

Lighthearted fare where the murder of a human being is treated by author and characters as just a plot point is, I suppose, one way to go.

A very popular way to go.

A way I choose never to go.

While a story may be an escape, it still must be grounded in fact to lift the heart up.

Bottom line: Murder wounds more than its victim. Treat it seriously.
