The Long and Short of It

Oh, I know there’s no hardened formula.

I am well aware that it depends on the story, the style and the publishing house into which you are trying to break. But, in general, should I aim for short or long?

My gut is saying short, but my gut is heavily medicated with psychotropic drugs so… yeah, not such a reliable source.

Guess I’ll just write until I’m done.

How thoroughly profound of me.
