Greed is Good

I fear I want too much out of my first Cozy Mystery.

I want it to avoid hokey. I want it to flirt with the literary.

I want it to break new ground, while still following a well-trodden and popular path.

I want it to tingle the spine, challenge the mind, and, when least expected, tickle the belly.

I want my sleuth to both shatter the mold and silhouette the classic.

I want it to be good.

I want it to do good.
