Grief is a mute companion.
Even once I stopped trying to push it out the door, it just wants to sit on the couch and fester.
Well, being quite the non-chatter myself, I know how to handle that situation…
The written word.
I’m writing to it. And letting it write through me.
All the memories of my lost muse, I’m crying down onto paper. A messy business, needless to say, but a needful one.
But is it working?
I’ll nod yes.
The words I’ll save for grief.
Until tomorrow…
