Steroids are bad.
True, they might do very wonderful things to nutty little girls who play in the poison ivy too long.
Very good things.
Much blessed things.
But…
Isn’t there always a “but” in my world?
But…
My brain will not turn off.
I don’t sleep or I can’t not sleep.
I’m jittery to the point of creepy… and I’ve still got a week left of my steroids to go.
Look away. Things are only going to get uglier.

I had a severe allergic reaction to the poison ivy (full body rash, swelling, fever, etc), so the steroids were sent in to save the day. Thanks for the well wishes!
