The Enumeration

Motives.

The search is on.

What are my reasons for writing? That’s what the MFA grad committee would like to know.

Ok, let’s enumerate these puppies.

1. I write to stay sane. (Clearly not working, on to the next…)
2. I write to keep other sanity-flutterers company. (The silence has teeth when you’re alone with a twitchy mind.)
3. I write to plant a few smiles in the world.

Well, all that trio could get me into is an upbeat asylum.

Terrific.

The tweaking will continue.
