Well, that ends that.

While the windup was long (six weeks of Status: Under Review), the delivery of the grad school’s final decision was dispassionately brief.

And brutal.

At least to a skittish nut who’d used up all her guts just stepping into the batter’s box.

You know, kindness matters.

To some more than most.

Why shove a person off a cliff when you can just direct them to the stairs?
