Revisited Taken, my second novel published. First peek at it in 7 years.
It was better than I had feared, but not as good as I had hoped.
Work will be needed to get it up to my current specs, but it’s doable. Bulking it up to 60k will help (15k word incentive for previous readers to return, you see.)
Apologies for the quick jabs of thought today. I think I short-circuited somewhere in Taken’s Chapter Eleven, a horrifyingly anemic attempt at a climax. Yikes. Picture: tail tucked.
